quarantine services
Animalcouriers can arrange quarantine services for you if for any reason your animal doesn't qualify for PETS (pet passport scheme). This could be because:
- your pet's passport is invalid or inaccurate
- the animal's microchip can't be read
- your pet has failed its rabies blood test
- you need to return to the UK in a hurry, and there's no time to organise a pet passport
Animalcouriers' quarantine services are based on our expertise in this area (including familiarity with the regulations) and our custom-fitted quarantine vehicle (fully certified by DEFRA, see certificate below). Our service covers:
- sorting out all the paperwork for you
- collecting your animal from any port of entry to the UK or from a European location
- sourcing and arranging quarantine boarding in the UK
- delivering your animal to the quarantine kennels
Our quarantine services will also fit the bill if you're using the UK as a transfer point — for instance, for an animal that's travelling from Europe to New Zealand.
